Rebecca Minkoff is searching for an Account Executive to join our Women’s Handbag Sales team. Reporting to ACC Sales Manager is motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual will be responsible for driving sales for our rapidly growing contemporary Handbags business in department store and Off Price channels.


    Account Executive will drive wholesale sales and support productivity of retail sales with major department stores.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Support and maintain existing major department store accounts
  • Present 4 collections annually to buyers during market periods
  • Analyze retailer’s selling data regularly to identify needs to drive sales
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to ensure productivity and mitigate inefficiencies
    • Pitch and evaluate growth opportunities in designated regions
    • Effectively understand and manage to seasonal and annual budgets by account
    • Provide general sales analysis as well as analysis on projections to budget, bookings, shipping, in order to plan and communicate performance to internal and external teams
    • Collaborate with Retail Merchandising team on all seasonal initiatives and execute as needed
    • Sell and negotiate to approved off-price retailers in line with company strategy
    • Provide assortment guidance to ensure best possible product assortment in line with account needs and company expectations
    • Complete seasonal order adjustments to ensure accuracy of order and efficiency of shipments

    Required Skills:

    • Superior retail math knowledge and analytical skills to provide insight and effectively illustrate current business trends and historical analysis
    • Ability to develop and manipulate reports to highlight business opportunity
    • Project and analyze shipping trend TY/LY
    • Basic understanding of EDI process
    • Pulse on industry trends
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively partner and present to Sr. Management and Executive team

    Required Experience:

    • 5 years established sales experience with background in accessories
    • Must have experience in handling department stores
    • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • BA degree preferred – fashion related highly preferred
